Chippenham River Festival

A short reminder that the Chippenham River Festival is on this Saturday 28th August at Monkton Park. Activities include raft racing, red devils parachute jump, and a "Think Bikes" display. We have received a request for helpers from the organisers, anyone with a few hours to spare is asked to contact Rebecca Watts rebeccawatts@connect.glos.ac.uk.

On Saturday the 28th of August, 50 teams of rafters will compete in four separate categories, the winners of which will then go against each other in the finals to see which team will be crowned the overall winner of 2010!

Teams can be made up of 4 - 6 people. All participants must be able swimmers and be 16 or over. They must all build their rafts following the race rules (available at www.chippenhamriverfestival.co.uk).

A team pedalo might be a sure way of having a Wheelers team cross the line first. Anyone interested, please spark up a forum for discussion.
