Weekend time-trialling round-up 7th/8th August 2010

Saturday saw the latest round of the national Rudy Project series of events promoted by Wyre Forest CRC. Chippenham were represented by Jeff Jones and Ben Anstie. The mens event was won by Matthew Bottrill of I-Ride.co.uk in 1:12:40 with Ben taking 2nd in 1:15:54 and Jeff 3rd in 1:16:59.

On Sunday morning it was the latest round of the club timetrial championship held on the A38 north of Falfield. The Severn RC 25 mile event is an undulating course and challenging but some fast times were done by some. The winner was Nik Gardiner of Cadence RT in 54:52. Chippenham's Robin Coomber was 4th with 56:55.
