British Transplant Games - Saturday 21st August

Our club have been asked to assist with marshalling the British Transplant Games in Royal Victoria Park, Bath this Saturday.

The British Transplant Games are a registered Charity whose main aim is to raise awareness of the need for organ donation in the UK and worldwide.

Through organising sports and social events for transplant recipients they encourage normal and active life activity after transplantation.

The charity are entirely dependant upon sponsorship, donations and volunteers to fund the running of the Association. This is therefore a great opportunity for our club's community to help organ recipients enjoy competitive cycling.

Volunteers would be required to arrive from 1:30 pm and have the option of bringing a picnic and staying on in the park in the evening to watch the Transplant games run using the same circuit.
