The Annual Club Dinner 28 January 2012

The Club Dinner was a great success with 89 club members and friends attending. Our guest of honour was Tim Reddish who is Chairman of the British Paralympic Association. He delivered a very funny speech and joined in very capably with the cross-toasting.

It was also a great honour for the club to have Jeff Jones there and he was presented with life membership of the Wheelers in recognition of his win in the BBAR and his National record for the 12 hr.

Some very skilful dancing followed the prize presentation with Sue Andrews teaching a full dance floor the "Barn Dance Jive". You had to be there really, but it was brilliant!!

Kate Churchill (Crisp) won the raffle for the signed jersey, which raised £375 for the club's nominated charity- Doorway.

Andy and Jaqui would like to thank all that attended and made it such a good night out. Thanks also go to Barbara, Sue and Mike, Mike and Sheila and Jemma for all their assistance.
