YoungCW log book awards

Whereas the Distance Awards are based on miles, the Logbook Awards are based on points. Various points are scored when you take part in different types of club activity during 2012. These activities could be riding a club ride or a time trial. Or you might help to marshal an event, write an article for the website, or make the tea on club nights! Each of these activities gets you points. The full list of activities and points awarded are below.
When you score points during 2012 you can win awards as follows:
- Red Logbook Award, 50 points achieved
- Green Logbook Award, 100 points achieved
- Blue Logbook Award, 150 points achieved
- Bronze Logbook Award, 250 points achieved
- Silver Logbook Award, 375 points achieved
- Gold Logbook Award, 500 points achieved
From 1 January 2013 your points total will go back to zero and we start all over again!
We will keep a record of the points being scored by you throughout 2012. This will enable us to keep a tally of how you are doing. We shall also announce the winner of the highest number of points in a quarter year and the highest number of points to date. As has been the case for a number of years, the overall points winner for 2012 shall be awarded the David Evans Clubman Cup.
