Audax - Flapjack
Starting at the Bath Road car park in Chippenham, this route takes in Wick Hill soon after the start then Lynham, Brinkworth where the first control point and compulsary flapjack is consumed. The route then goes on to Minety, Somerford Keynes, Siddington and Kemble where another control point and flapjack are positioned. It is then over to the West of the A429 for a return south via Cherington, Tetbury, Westonbirt and Sherston. Another control point (and you guessed it) before dropping onto the Fosse Way and into Grittleton and Castle Combe. A short climb out of Castle Combe and a quick decent into Ford. Round the White Hart pub for a sting-in-the-tail climb up a narrow road and onto Biddestone. From here back to the club room for more food.
