Club Time Trials – Road Bike Category

Great news! Following many queries we are introducing a road bike category for the remaining Jack Nunn 10 mile time trial events from 1 June. This will give road bike riders chance to compete across 7 events. The winner of this category will be based on the fastest rider (man and woman) on any of the club evening 10 mile time trial courses.

You may currently use your road bike for riding Leisure rides, Audax or Sportives. So why would you pop along to Sutton Benger on a Wednesday evening for half an hours TT? Well, experience shows that partaking in just 2 or 3 10 mile TT’s can make you fitter and faster. And improve your riding across the board. So why not give it a go?! It’s not going to hurt much. Contact Paul Winchcombe for more information.

At registration riders must identify themselves as riding a road bike. To count as a road bike the bike must not have tri-bar extensions. Everything else goes. To participate in at time trial you must wear a helmet and have front and rear working (and turned on lights at the start).
