The second in our series of audax rides for 2023. We head out to Honeystreet Mill Cafe who have kindly agreed to host us once again. The Finish will be at Chippenham Sports Club, where the upstairs bar and kitchen will be open for drinks and lunch (order and pay at the bar). Everyone is very welcome to join us at the finish.
The route takes us past Silbury Hill and on through East Kennett for a gentle climb up the side of Tan Hill. From here we get a lovely descent to Alton Barnes for our morning stop at Honeystreet Mill. We return via Roundway and it’s Conscience Lane to Rowde. There’s just a little sting in the tail of this one, the climb up Brick Hill after Bromham, but it’ll soon be done. Then back to the Sports Club for post-ride refreshments at the bar.
Entry fee for club members £1 (non-members £2) and it’s cash only.

The form is mandatory for all riders, so the organiser knows who and how many to expect and so we have a record of everyone riding on the day. Your cooperation to complete this in advance of the ride will be much appreciated.
The registration desk will be open from 8.40am onwards by the tennis courts. Please arrive at least 5 minutes before the start.

Please note we are not issuing brevet cards this year (except for Fletcher’s Flapjack) so we assume you complete the route in the set time shown on the RWGPS route, unless you advise the organiser.
