This is ride is open to all Members and Guests who would like to partake on New Year’s Day. The pace will allow all riders to enjoy the distance.
Imber is a village in the middle of Salisbury Plain, closed to the public except for certain public holidays. It is used by the military for target practice.
Current information is showing Imber village as open 29 Dec 2025 – 1 Jan 2026 inclusive. Before we get there we’ll stop at Costa Coffee in Warminster for coffee and cake to keep us fuelled. The MoD road through Imber is paved all the way, but can get a bit mucky if wet so mudguards are strongly recommended for this ride.

The form is a mandatory for all riders, so the organiser knows who and how many to expect and so we have a record of everyone riding on the day. Your cooperation to complete this in advance of the ride will be much appreciated. It also means we can email you if there is any change in the ride information or cancellation. There is no need to notify us if you subsequently change your mind and decide not to ride, but a short email to the address below will ensure your name is taken off the list.
Experienced riders are asked to help keep the groups to a manageable size on the road.
