The Flapjack is back! This is an open 100km audax organised by Chippenham & District Wheelers via Audax UK, which typically attracts a field of around 120 riders from all over our region.
Club members wishing to enter can do so via the Audax UK website through the link below, which has information about the route and controls. Full route details, GPX files and route sheets are sent to entrants approximately 2 weeks before the event. Please enter early to avoid disappointment as entries will close when our limit is reached.
UPDATE 10TH JAN – EVENT NOW FULL. We have had to close entries early as we have exceeded our capacity. Please note we will not be operating a waiting list or accepting entries on the day. If you can spare the time please come along and help us at one of the venues on the day…..

We will need a LOT of lovely helpers for this event at the village hall controls in Brinkworth, Kemble and Sherston, plus at the start/finish in Chippenham Bowls Pavilion. We will also need large quantities of CAKE and FLAPJACK! All offers of help (and baking!) will be gratefully appreciated. Volunteers can be expected to be bestowed with thanks and praise from the riders and will help maintain our club’s tradition of running this classic event, which has a reputation of sending riders home ‘well fed’!
Rider helpers will also be appreciated – club members can set off riding the route one hour ahead of the main field and stop to help out at one or more of the controls. Then try to catch everyone else later! Rider helpers do not need to enter via the Audax UK website. Please contact Sheni Jiwa in advance if you are willing to do this – it’s a fun way of helping on the day.
