A new route out of Bath via the Two Tunnels cycle path to Wellow. Cafe stop at the Rider’s Rest Tea Rooms in Wellow or at the Lock Inn, Bradford-on-Avon. Enjoy the thrill of cycling for over 2km through the former railway tunnels. Note that after the tunnels there are a couple of steep-ish climbs up Hinton and Iford Hills to get us home.
Blue sections = tarmac cycle path
Brown section = gravel cycle path (can be easily avoided by short detour on road)
LIGHTS REQUIRED FOR TUNNELS – so you can be seen (the tunnels are dimly lit)
PLEASE RIDE SINGLE FILE on cycle paths with consideration for others
