Ride out of Bath via the Two Tunnels cycle path to Wellow. Cafe stop at the Rider’s Rest Tea Rooms in Wellow. Enjoy the thrill of cycling for over 2km through the former railway tunnels. Note that after the tunnels there are a couple of steep-ish climbs up Hinton and Iford Hills to get us home.
Blue sections = tarmac cycle path
Brown section = gravel cycle path (can be easily avoided by short detour on road, but you’ll miss the cafe!)
LIGHTS REQUIRED FOR TUNNELS – so you can be seen (the tunnels are dimly lit)
