Stage 6 of the Tour of Britain 2022
Sports Club starting point at 10am Coffee and refreshments at the Wild Carrot at Chavenage.
The Tour is scheduled to pass this point between 12:57 and 13:20.
Anyone not wanting to continue to Stroud can follow the Short Route back to Chippenham.
It is 8 miles/13kms from Tetbury Hill to Stroud, selected as the second viewing point of the Tour as it heads North to Gloucester, where the’re scheduled to be between 14:31 and 15:15.
We should have a good hour to travel the 8 miles to Stroud and find some lunch.
The Tour route will come into Stroud on the B4066 from Selsley and follow the A419 (Dudbridge road) to the Cainscross roundabout and then onto the A4171 (Paganhill Lane) before turning right onto Stratford Road. Paganhill Lane is a short climb and the junction with Stratford Road is the second point selected to see the Tour (

These points could be changed is the number of spectators make these particular points make it difficult.

Experienced members taking part on the day will be required to act as ride leaders.
Everyone is advised to familiarise themselves with the route in advance and to carry relevant maps / GPS directions.
