This winter Chippenham Wheeler track session announced.
For all of you bidding track stars the club has arranged 4 track session at Newport’s Geraint Thomas national velodrome for this winter. All of the seasons are Friday evening sessions including a valentine’s day session for you romantics. There will be a bottle of bubbly for a any couples taking to the track on 14th February.
The sessions are for all abilities so if you are a novice to the track or buddy star everyone is welcome.
Friday 31 January 2020 6pm – 8pm
Friday 7 February 2020 6pm – 8pm
Friday 14 February 2020 6pm – 8pm
Friday 21 February 2020 6pm – 8pm
The Friday evening sessions are aimed at our younger members to get a taste for the track but everyone will be welcome.
The sessions are open to anyone over the age of 10 and the session cost £12 per person.
If you are interested in taking part in any of the sessions please contact Andy Cadwallader at andy.cadwallader@wiltshire.gov.uk indicating which session you would like to attend.
The club does have a selection of track bikes for hire and there are bikes available for hire at the velodrome. If you would like to hire a club bike then the bike needs to be collected from the club container at Fowlswick Lane Industrial Estate prior to the session. The bikes at the velodrome only have Look Keo pedals which cannot be changed so please ensure that you have Look Keo Cleats.
Track time is valuable and so to ensure you have the maximum time on the track please arrive early so you are ready to go at the start of the session.
