The ride is on a set 20 mile route. Meeting point changed to Wavin/Parsonage Way. The ride starts at 5.00pm.
There will be a set pace of around 16mph depending on conditions. If there are enough people to form a faster group then that’s fine, but no one is to be left behind.
This will be group riding at night, so please be prepared with:
- Suitable lights – keep lights on steady when riding in the group (not flashing)
- Hi-viz clothing e.g. jacket or gilet.
- Mudguards – in anything but dry weather
Experienced riders are asked to help keep the groups to a manageable size on the road.
Ride may be cancelled in the event of really bad conditions, in which case this page will be updated.
Finish will be at the Sports Club/Bowls Pavilion on the Monthly Club Nights to enjoy a warming cup of tea and cake.

The form is a mandatory for all riders, so the organiser knows who and how many to expect and so we have a record of everyone riding on the day. Your cooperation to complete this in advance of the ride will be much appreciated. It also means we can email you if there is any change in the ride information or cancellation. There is no need to notify us if you subsequently change your mind and decide not to ride, but a short email to the address below will ensure your name is taken off the list.
