Youth focused Go Ride session

WHEN: August 12 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm
CATEGORY: Young Wheelers
EVENT ORGANISER: Rich Buckley
START LOCATION: Castle Combe Race Circuit

Join us at Castle Combe for a Go Ride session aimed at riders from age 5 to 15. Please attend with a road worthy bike and helmet. A water bottle is also recommended, especially if it is warm.

Following the success of last years Go Ride sessions, this will be a skills based session held off the track. We will be teaching low speed bike control techniques progressing to riding side by side around a simple course. We may teach pickup and drop off of bean bags and water bottles which gives confidence with one handed riding for signaling.

The session is open to club members, children of members or anyone else interested in cycling.

You will be required to register for “Castle Combe Cycling” at the cost of £1 per child for the year then pay £2 per child per session. This registration covers all insurance for using the track and allows you to cycle round the track when our session has completed. Please see https://andycookcycling.com/castle-combe-tuesdays/ for registration details and links. Register on the evening at the desk and you will be directed to the area to the right of the track entrance.
