Helpers Needed

We now have enough cake baking and rider-helper offers. We could still do with a couple of non-riding people to help with the check-in at the finish, in the Sports Club from 1.30pm onwards.

Any help is always greatly appreciated, and enables us to keep this event going for yet another year. It was originally started by club stalwart Eric Fletcher in the late 90s.

Thank you to those who have already signed up to ride-and-help or have offered to help without riding. Sheni will be in contact with you soon with more details of where and when we need you on the day, or to take up the very kind offers of cake/flapjack baking that some of you have generously made.

Finish at the Sports Club – all Welcome

Any members not riding the event are  welcome to come along to the Arrivee at the Sports & Social Club to chat with the riders as they finish. We have a full entry of 150 and will have the bar open for hot and cold drinks and the kitchen will be serving up hot food. We also plan to be showing Stage 1 of Paris-Nice on the big TV screen. Riders are expected to finish from 1.45pm onwards. We will be there until 5.00pm.
