Welcome to the Youth area of the club website. You can find information here on the range of activities that our younger riders can take part. To see a complete and up-to-date list of activities always check the diary section of the website.

A few years back we introduced a brand new Young Wheelers Awards Scheme to encourage even more participation in the events arranged by the club. The Awards are for riders aged 16 years old and under who are full members of the Wheelers.

SO WHAT IS THE ‘YOUNG WHEELERS AWARDS SCHEME’?

The scheme comprises of two award programmes:

1. Distance Awards
2. Logbook Awards

How do I register my interest in the Young Wheelers Awards Scheme?

Just contact youth@chippenhamwheelers.org to register your interest. And then keep a safe record of the activities that you are doing. For example, 12 March – rode Youth TT, 21 March – served tea at club open event, 4 April – marshalled at Club Evening 10 TT and so on.

Certificates and badges

Successful attainment of each stage of the Distance or Logbook Awards entitles you to a signed ‘top quality’ Certificate and beautiful enamel Badge. These can be presented at Wednesday Club Night or other suitable date and venue thats convenient.
