*The Chippenham Wheelers Annual Awards Night, the social event of the year for our
fab-u-lous club. It serves as a moment to trade the Lycra for “smart casual dress” or “a
bit of sparkle” if you so wish, to celebrate the achievements of our members,….from high-
speed time trials to long-distance Audax challenges., there’s an award for all.

Event Highlights
The evening is designed as a relaxed social gathering, blending the presentation with a party atmosphere.
- Bar & Arrival: The evening traditionally kicks off with drinks available at the club
bar.The bar at the Chippenham Sports and Social Club remains open throughout the evening, offering a space for “cycling banter” and catching up with
club mates. It’s the perfect opportunity for members from different disciplines— leisure, racing, and youth—to mix. - *Two Course Dinner: Guests enjoy a hot two-course meal designed to cater to all dietary requirements.
- 2025 Awards Presentation: The center-piece of the night is the presentation of silverware and medals for the 2025 season including…
*Time Trial Awards-Honouring the fastest men, women, and veterans across various distances.
*Audax Medals: Presenting Gold (750km+), Silver (500km+), and Bronze
(350km+) medals for those who completed the club’s long-distance series.
‘*Alternative’ Club Awards: Including non-competitive accolades such as ‘The Half Wheel Trophy’ and the legendary ‘Best Crash’ Awards….could this be you…? - Charity Raffle: A highlight of the evening, featuring prizes donated by local businesses and members. All proceeds will go toward the Wiltshire and Bath Air Ambulance, supporting their life-saving critical care missions across our region.
