The club are planning an expanded series of Go Ride sessions for 2026 with both James and Rich both recently qualified as British Cycling coaches. We will be joined on most sessions by Gordon, Andy and other club helpers.
Sessions are planned for the following dates:
- 5th and 26th (half term week) May.
- 2nd, 16th and 30th June.
- 14th and 28th July.
- 11th and 25th August.
Sessions would run from 18:00 to 19:00 except in the event of terrible weather which would force a cancellation.
Everyone will participate with some skills and play and game based learning and we will graduating some of the more capable riders to do more time on the track.
Children participating are expected to be registered for Castle Combe Tuesday evening participation for insurance purposes. See https://andycookcycling.com/castle-combe-tuesdays/ for more information and links to register. For children, this is £1 to register and £2 per evening. The youth coaching will be provided by Chippenham and District Wheelers. Membership of Chippenham Wheelers club is encouraged but not required. Parents are expected to stay on site for the hour of the youth riding with contact details provided to the registration desk.
