Lottery 2 Up Results – 8 May 2019

On a very wet evening a few hardy souls arrived for the lottery 2-Up.  Officials got the distinct impression that partners in pairings were hoping that their partner would be a no show.  Failing that some thought the Racing Secretary might call it off, no such luck though. Yes, rain was falling and the course was wet but perfectly ridable.  Fiona turned up in Maddy’s old hivis rain jacket, while Maddy was in a sweat top but she declined offers of a top.  As there were only 3 teams Sue did start and finish timing.  The handicapping was quite close with Lauren riding her socks off, even if her face showed that she probably hung on to Ian’s wheel.  Winners of the Handicap Trophy were Lauren Booth and Ian Potts, with the Handicap Medal for fastest team going to Mike Gibbons and Andy Summers.
