It is with great sadness and a huge sense of loss that we must pass on the news that Chris Davies has passed away.

He died suddenly and unexpectedly at his home on Friday 21st May.

Those of you who knew and rode with Chris on the Slackers, chain gangs, leisure rides, audax series and RAB will respect his riding ability and always remember his out going personality.

This made him someone with whom you could enjoy a good bike ride and there was always a funny thrown in during a coffee stop chat. His quick wit will always be remembered.

He was also an accomplished RAF judo competitor (Black belt) and rugby player in his earlier years.

Chris was not just a cycling mate to Cath and myself but a Brother in Law too and a wonderful dad to his three little beauties Florence, Beatrix and Olive.

His family have asked that you remember him fondly and carry him with you in your thoughts.
