We are looking for Club members and volunteers to help out at our Good Friday Racing at Castle Combe on Friday 30th March. This event is extremely popular attracting over 500 cyclists throughout the day, so as you can imagine, we need all the help we can get! If you are able to assist in any way, shape or form, even for just a couple of hours, we would be really grateful. In return for your offers of kindness, you will be supplied with copious amounts of tea and coffee, hot cross buns, and we’ll even throw in a bacon butty – now we can’t say fairer than that!
Helpers required for the following duties:
- Registration Desks/Signing-on riders/checking racing licences
- Setting-up crowd control barriers/feather flags/erecting gazebos etc
- Gear checking (Junior races)
- Marshalling
- Judging
- Camera operatives for the finish line (i-pads ideal)
