Once again your Racing Secretary has produced a report on the 2019 Time Trial Season and has also included a shorter report on Audaxing (thanks Sheni). Next season has already been planned and club events submitted to CTT for publication. West DC has a full calendar of events for Hardriders, short distance and long distance BAR events and of course the WTTA Hill Climb series. Next year West DC are hosting the National 100 Mile Time Trial event and much work is ongoing to avoid using U86/100 (as apparently it isn’t very fast – Rule 5 applies for all entering West DCs’ rolling distance courses). We are looking at some slightly different events for the evenings where we are not competing for the Jack Nunn, Nixon and Edwards and other club trophies – what I hear you say you don’t know what these are, then head over to the handbook or the racing pages to remind yourself why you should really be showing the Racing Secretary that he is now officially too old to expect to continue taking trophies which he has become used to!
