Traditional Christmas Eve ride, but probably with a few “social” differences this year, depending on whatever restrictions are in place at the time?! Please note we will be starting and finishing at the Sports Club.

Meet at the Sports Club for a gentle paced ride around the lanes of Wiltshire. What better excuse to avoid the shops on Christmas Eve than a ride with your club mates. All bikes, ages and abilities welcome.
Look forward to seeing club members out on the day. Festive costumes and decorated bikes are positively encouraged!
Route will be out through Monkton park to St Mary’s Street then along the back roads to London Road. Down Stanley Lane then chain gang route to Tytherton Lucas, East Tytherton, Kellaways, Sutton Benger, Great Somerford, towards Dauntsey then to the motorway foot bridge. Route back to Chippenham via Foxham and Kellaways. Exact route attached for those interested.
A few Ride Coordinators will lead/look after the groups. We will aim to select similar ability groups of maximum 6 each.
This ride is organised as a traditional old fashioned club run……!! It’s very important we keep to groups of maximum 6 with space between groups for cars to overtake etc.
It might be that we are able to enjoy a socially-distanced drink after the ride in the Sports Club in accordance with their rules. Who knows…..? It will obviously depend on restrictions at the time.
Please note that attendance of this ride requires advanced booking for COVID track and trace purposes. Please use this simple booking form using the name you are registered with in Rider HQ. Please complete the form for each member wishing to attend.
The form is a mandatory for all riders, so we can make our rides as COVID safe as possible for all of us. Your cooperation to complete this in advance of the ride will help the start go smoothly and will be much appreciated.
A Google Form has been used to capture the necessary information rather than using any other app or site that requires registration.
