What member data we capture

Personal details captured for membership include: member name, address, telephone number, email address, date of birth, gender, any medical conditions we should be aware of, rules and privacy policy acceptance, 1st claim club for 2nd claim members. These details are all captured by RiderHQ and managed outside of this web site.

Who we share your data with

No personal member details are captured on this site. All membership management is undertaken using RiderHQ.

A subset of membership details, name, postcode, membership type, telephone number, year of birth, club membership number, email address are shared with Chippenham Sports and Social Club for making use of their facilities.

Where we send your data

We use Google Analytics to monitor the usage of this web site.

We use RiderHQ to manage memberships and distribute member emails.

We use MailChimp to distribute member emails from time to time.

A subset of membership details, name, postcode, membership type, telephone number, year of birth, club membership number, email address are shared with Chippenham Sports and Social Club for making use of their facilities.

Aggregated total data is provided to British Cycling annually for statistics gathering. This will be in the form of the number of members in gender and age bands. No personal identifying information is contained in this data set.

Web site comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
