Mike Edwards recent wrote a piece for the West Vets quarterly magazine which is edited by Paul Freegard of Chippenham Wheelers. Many members will not have seen this fascinating article or be aware of Mike’s early in the RAF. He once told me that he was inspired to join the RAF by his flights in Lancaster Bombers as part of the Air Training Corps and now there are only 2 airworthy Lancasters in the world!
