UC863S – Lyneham Banks Sporting Time Trial

UC863S is a sporting time trial course which starts in Sutton Benger and goes out to Lyneham, up Lyneham Banks.  It has a challenging climb and a technical descent.  With the collapse of Lyneham Banks in February 2022 the course is out of use at present.  The course should not be used if very wet as the bends are considered hazardous on the descent. START    (G.R. 950787) in High Street, Sutton Benger. Go North East on B4069 (direction of Lyneham) for approx 5 miles climbing Lyneham Banks to Lyneham RAB and turn at RAB 3rd exit, come back on same course descending Lyneham Banks back to Sutton Benger. Finish opposite the start.
