The 2026 Club AGM will be held at the Doorway Function Room, Bath Road, Chippenham, SN15 2AB on Wednesday 25th November.

The AGM is an important part of our club’s governance and an opportunity for all members to hear how the club is performing, receive an update on our financial position, and have a say in its future direction. It is also the meeting at which committee positions are formally filled and any proposed changes to the club rules are considered.
This year, the committee is proposing two short rule changes intended to simplify and clarify our membership types and the responsibilities associated with certain roles. These are laid out in the following two motions:

As per our club rule additional motions need to be submitted to the club secretary at least 14 days prior to the AGM.
We would also like to have an open discussion about our membership of Chippenham Sports Club. We joined in 2019, and we feel this is a good opportunity to reflect on the pros and cons of that membership and hear members’ views on its value to the club.
The AGM is your opportunity to influence the direction of the club, raise your views and, if you are able, get more involved. The club succeeds through the time and effort given by its volunteers, and any contribution — large or small — is greatly appreciated.
