As you may know the club racing secretary maintains a list of club time trial records. These are maintained by absolute record (the fastest man or women for each set distance/category) and by age group record for Veterans (Veterans are all time trialists who are over the age of 40). These records are shown on the club website at “Club Records“.
Recently a club member made a historic claim for a club record which is fantastic as the website does ask for them to be submitted. It is never too late to submit a claim for a record (provided it is supported by evidence – medal, result sheet, etc) or to update the records. Some of the records do not record the year in which they were achieved, so if anyone knows which year’s Roy Burden set his records in please do contact the Racing Secretary.
