Wheelers good samaritan

Wheelers good samaritan

12 Jul 2015 By Leave a Comment

We received the following correspondence this week:

Hello

I’m not sure if you have a way to broadcast this to your members but I’d like to say thank you to someone (I dont have his name) who rescued my son on Forest Lane between Lacock and Melksham on Thursday morning 3/12.

My son Ben (who rides for Radeon Cycle Coaching) was cycling on a fairly new set of training wheels on his own when a spoke snapped and the wheel buckled badly rendering him immobile. An immense stroke of good fortune saw a Wheelers member drive past within just a couple of minutes of the incident, with a cycle rack on the roof of his vehicle – in no time at all the bike was on the roof and he was driven all the way home to the Pewsham side of Chippenham, going out of the drivers way. So please pass on my thanks to whoever it was that came to his rescue!
